The University of Hull Faculty of Health Sciences had the pleasure of hosting a free research seminar presented by Dr Sue Bond – a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg.
Her phenomenological study draws upon ‘possible selves’ theory and concepts of resilience for children as they transition from ‘looked after’ care environments. Sue’s presentation was very well attended by lecturers, health and social work experts. She identified some stark differences in health and social care provision across the globe.
The session raised some exceptionally interesting discussions.
