Goodbye to our recent Thai visitor

Nun, centre with Dr Moira Graham
and Professor Mark Hayter
Maneeratsami (Nun) Pattanasombutsook, a visiting International PhD Scholar from the Faculty of Nursing, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand  has spent the last 6 months in the School of Nursing and Social Work. The purpose of Nun's visit, funded by a scholarship from the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, was to fulfil a requirement for international PhD experiences before submitting and defending her PhD thesis.  Nun has spent time with colleagues in the Faculty and the local area and returns home shortly.  Nun has collaborated with colleagues to co-author a paper during her time here and also has undertaken modules/study events on research methods.  We will maintain contact with Nun and build on our links with Prince of Songkla University.

"It was my great opportunity to be a research visiting student at the Faculty of Health Sciences, the University of Hull, from September 2017 to March 2018. The university personnel, the study system, the Skills team, the facilities, the Library, the academic activities, the academic colleagues and everything here at Hull all developed my learning.  My supervisors, Dr.Moira and Dr.Mark, and the rest of the Faculty were very supportive and I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone for your teaching and kind support. I have loved being with you all and the University of Hull. Thank you very much indeed."
