Seminar: Understanding the role of WSB-1 in breast cancer

The sixth speaker in the 2017 Biomedical Science Seminar Series is Dr Isabel Pires, School of Life Sciences Biomedical Sciences subject group University of Hull.


As part of the BMS Seminar series, the seminar takes place on Wednesday 6th December, 1-2pm Hardy LT2.

Isabel is a cancer biologist, and is particularly interested in how low oxygen (hypoxia) in tumours impacts on metastatic spread and therapy. She is an enthusiastic science communicator, and has given talks in such events as TEDx Hull and Pint of Science. She is the main organiser of Soapbox Science Hull
