Recently Uncovered Photograph Collection Reveals Extraordinary Insight into pre-NHS Healthcare

As many of you will already know, I am avid user of Twitter and, like a magpie, I collect shiny and interesting looking tweets. I do this by emailing them to myself and archiving them for future reference - perhaps there is a more adept way to archive tweets, but I have yet to discover it!

The need to understand the experience of prisoners families in end of life care

Carol Rubini presented a paper entitled ‘The need to understand the experience of prisoners families in end of life care’, at the HMP Whatton annual conference last week.

The prison currently works in collaboration with academic institutions and partner organisations undertaking pioneering prison based research.  This year the conference focused on Hope, Help and Change. It brought together over one hundred people including prison staff, academics and service users with the aim of understanding the experiences of prisoners and the effectiveness of prisoner support.
