Honorary Professorial appointment for Mark Hayter

Professor Mark Hayter has been appointed as Honorary Professor of Clinical Research by the Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

Mark says; 'I have worked with RDASH for a number of years on several research projects. This appointment cements that relationship and will help build links between the Trust and the Faculty of Health and Social Care at Hull. RDASH have an excellent research support infrastructure and are keen to grow their research profile through a partnership with the Faculty and University - working on this will be one of the key elements of this appointment.'

Successful NIHR bid by Dr Fiona Cowdell

Dr Fiona Cowdell has just been awarded a research grant worth £270,000 by the Department of Health to investigate "Knowledge sharing in atopic eczema: understanding and enhancing mindlines and patientlines to improve experience and outcomes of primary care consultations and self-management practices"
