Tzu-Pei Yeh presents at Conference in Taiwan

Former faculty PhD student Tzu-Pei Yeh presented a paper from her study on stress and personality factors in Taiwanese cancer nurses at the 2nd Asian Congress in Nursing Education in Tainan, Taiwan on 29 January 2016.  The conference was hosted by National Cheng Kung University, Tainan.

Dr Barbara Elliott

Barbara Elliott graduated with her PhD this week at the University of Hull.  Her thesis was titled: From bench to bedside: the development of a location indicating nasogastric tube and she was  supervised by Dr Peter Draper from the faculty and Professor John Greenman, Head of School Biological, Biomedical and Environmental Sciences.  Here she is with Peter:

New publication by pseudonym

Our famous faculty author has branched out under a pseudonym (Melodie Trudeaux) into children's fiction with Horse of a different colour.

Obituary - James Ware FRCS

Professor Roger Watson had the honour of writing an obituary for the late James Ware who had links with the University of Hull when the Faculty participated in the Hong Kong Commission for Nursing.  The obituary is published as follows:

New Chinese visiting scholar in the Faculty

Associate Professor Chen Yu from Southern Medical University in Guangzhou, China has arrived in the Faculty to work for one year with Professor Roger Watson.  Yu is interested in psychological aspects of nursing and hopes to establish a collaborative project with the faculty.

Professor Mark Hayter appointed to Journal of Sex Education International Editorial Board

Professor Mark Hayter has been invited to join the International Editorial Board of the journal Sex Education: Sexuality,Society and Learning. Published by Taylor and Francis this is one of the leading international journals in sexual health and sex education and is home to world leading research on sex education and its related theory and practice.
